Testimonials

Anyone can benefit from a treatment at Nousoma. Here’s what our clients are saying:

Having a treatment with Elizabeth is like being treated like you are the most precious object in the world. From the moment you lie down on her table and get cocooned in her mohair rug to the instant feeling of relaxation you know you are good hands. I have never felt so relaxed after an energy session before.

I was amazed that a week after my session I still had this wonderful feeling of being able to cope with anything that was put in my path. It really makes you stop sweating the little stuff and live in the moment.

I do a lot of physical activity and I find the Jin Shin Jyutsu helps to bring back the balance in muscles that feel tired or over pushed. I now look forward to my fortnightly session as it is all about maintaining the body as we go along not when it feels broken. A session with Elizabeth helps me to maintain my balance in life.

A Jin Shin Jyutsu treatment with Elizabeth is like a mini-vacation. You can go wherever you want for about an hour, and when you open your eyes, you feel relaxed, refreshed and recharged. It is the most astonishingly easy and effective way of restoring health and well-being – I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Elizabeth Meadows introduced me to Jin Shin Jyutsu at a time when my stress levels were through the roof. A busy job, family and community commitments and a desire to cover all the bases left me stretched and exhausted. Elizabeth’s treatment process was re-energising, allowing me total relaxation and time out from the busy world to re-focus on what was truly important. I look forward to my Jin Shin Jyutsu sessions with Elizabeth, knowing that whatever seems to be the biggest ‘noise’ in my life will be adjusted into perspective by the session’s end. Each experience is personal and unique. I thoroughly recommend it.

I am in my late 50’s and was diagnosed with breast cancer six months ago. I had a lumpectomy followed by a course of radiotherapy. All went well but I was almost recovered from the fatigue and soreness of the radiotherapy when I contracted a virus. A cough followed which wouldn’t shift and after 2 months, led to pneumonia! I had a number of courses of antibiotics and even went to hospital to have IV antibiotic! After all that, my body was so out of kilter I just didn’t feel well!

I had met Elizabeth and heard about Jin Shin Jyutsu at a Breast Cancer Support meeting, a month previously and was impressed! I felt she could help me so proceeded to have some treatment. Even after the first treatment I felt so much better and felt this was an important turning point in my recovery! My temperature had stabilised and just went from strength to strength. The treatment Elizabeth gives, relieves stress, seems to realign the body in a holistic way and she does it in a caring and gentle manner that you feel totally at ease and comfort. The pampering and relaxation alone is worth its weight in gold but the general benefits of encouraging the body to heal itself are brilliant! Elizabeth compliments the Jin Shin Jyutsu with mentoring, aromatherapy, love and care!

I would highly recommend Jin Shin Jyutsu administered by Elizabeth, to anyone trying to recover from cancer or other illness.

This has been the most challenging year both personally and professionally for me. I can honestly say that I have faced each challenge with a strength I didn’t know I had and I can contribute so much of it, directly to the heart that Elizabeth brings to her work with Jin Shin Jyutsu. I thoroughly recommend Elizabeth and can’t thank the friend enough, that lead me to her doorstep.

Through a friend I heard about Elizabeth’s therapy ‘Jin Shin Jyutsu’ and although feeling rather sceptical about its possible efficacy I went along.

Elizabeth informed me that the treatment would stimulate my body’s own healing ability. I was surprised and very pleased when I found symptom relief to be almost immediate, after only two sessions I was completely symptom free and have had no recurring problem with that knee since.

I would recommend Elizabeth and her therapy to anyone and I would certainly seek her advice if I had any further medical problems.

My Mum got the all clear yesterday – NO MORE CANCER! In amazement to the medical profession as they are all scratching their heads in wonder!!!

My mother was diagnosed with breast tumors and given 6 months by her surgeon. My mum took the path of combining western medicine and eastern medicine to rid her body of the ugly disease. She had an amazing oncologist who worked with her and through the use of a new chemo drug that could be taken orally and the amazing assistance of the caring practitioners in the eastern field she was able to reduce the tumors until they got to a stage that they were able to operate.

Elizabeth Meadows was thankfully one of the practitioners that worked with my mum. She did personal one on one treatments with my mum but she also passed onto my mum and her family different self-help treatments we could use throughout the journey to recovery.

As soon as mum came out of surgery we used Jin Shin Jyutsu hold to help her recover from the invasive surgery and drugs. My Mum went home a day after the surgery.

After the breast was removed Mum started 30 hits of radiation Elizabeth gave mum Jin Shin Jyutsu holds to reduce the burning effect of the treatment, she also got Mum onto pure Alo vera cream instead of the petroleum based cream the hospital provided. My mother showed no sign of burning until she was up to her 20th hit. While many others in the hospital were blistering after 3 hits of radiation. Elizabeth did one on one treatment to help blood flow and movement to the area.

To sum it all up I believe that it is a case of a combination of western and eastern medicine that gave this result. For those who have friends or family going through this if they have chosen to take western medicine it is imperative they use both as the eastern supports the healing and the cause. The western treats the results of the outcome of the cause.

For our Family we were lucky that we could find someone like Elizabeth who had also been through Breast Cancer and has decided to dedicate her work to helping others to LIVE through this disease
It is never too late to change old patterns of a life time so we clear our way to a brighter and stronger future and is never too late to open ones heart.

It sounds awful to consider yourself a bit of a surgery veteran, however in many ways that is what I had become. Various life style stressors over the past 7 years have seen me endure surgery and/or hospitalisation every year; however the most amazing part of this journey has been my most recent experience.

In September 2006 part of my thyroid enlarged and later revealed two significant growths that could not be treated with medication, surgery was inevitable. In the months leading up to the surgery, I received regular Jin Shin Jyutsu treatments from Elizabeth Meadows which I firmly believe significantly reduced the size of the growths leading up to surgery. In the days immediately preceding the surgery Elizabeth treated me again and then came to the hospital to treat me post operatively.

The net result has been, right from the very day of the surgery the comments on how well I looked have flowed, but more importantly it is how I felt. I had never felt better. I was released from hospital after a staggering 2 days, with no pain and only minimal discomfort, I expected to be out of action for at least 3-4 weeks, and however I feel as if I could go for a run. This may sound incredible and in my eyes it certainly is, Jin Shin Jyutsu has been the single most significant contributor to what could have been months of recovery ahead.

Thank you Elizabeth, Jin Shin Jyutsu has rebalanced my body and released the healing energy from within, I feel fantastic”
